When a made-up story crafted to meet a rapidly approaching deadline spirals out of control, a young reporter takes it upon himself to warn the public and his journalistic peers of the dangers of sensationalism in this long-lost film noir directed by Frank Wisbar and starring Horst Buchholz. Aspiring journalist Greg Bachmann (Buchholz) has just been released from prison and is looking for some honest work. Soon hired as assistant to influential yellow journalist Cesar Boyd (Martin Held), Bachmann is shocked to discover that his new employer has concocted the story of a blind Nazi soldier discovered in a bunker years after the end of World War II in order to meet a looming deadline. When other reporters latch on to the story and run a phony picture of the long-lost soldier, a peaceful protest aimed at pressuring authorities to release the man quickly elevate into a full-scale riot. Now, with all of Europe in chaos, Bachmann must race to expose the fraudulent scoop and spread the word about the dangers of tabloid reporting.

Onetime Playboy Playmate Shannon Tweed stars in this sexually tinged legal thriller. When exotic dancer Virginia Hill (Kirstine Carlstrand) is found murdered in her home, the first suspect is millionaire David Mulholland (Corbin Timbrook), who owns the strip club where she worked. He was at her house the night that she died, and by his own admission, they both enjoyed rough sex, with David often posing as an intruder who had come to rape her. John Doherty (Myles O'Brien), the detective assigned to the case, is keen on a speedy conviction, partially as a way of silencing talk about allegations of internal corruption. But Mulholland insists he's innocent and hires the best trial attorney available - Maureen Doherty (Shannon Tweed), who on top of her legal skills happens to be John's ex-wife; they did not part on amicably, and Maureen seems pleased at the prospect of making John look bad in court.

Deadbeat dads be damned. Patrick Swayze plays a con man who tries to live up to the ideals of "family values" by kidnapping his son and daughter from the evil clutches of a corrupt orphanage and taking them on a cross-country trip in his vintage convertible. Rita Rizzoli is a narcotics cop with a plethora of disguises. When a drug shipment is hijacked, the thieves don't know that the drug is unusually pure and packs of 'Fatal Beauty' begin turning up next to too many dead bodies. Mike works for the original owner of the drugs and tries to tell himself that since he does not handle the drugs, he is 'clean'. Mike becomes Rita's constant companion as the drug hijackers (who are nearly psychotic and very well armed) are hunted, while more and more bodies continue to turn up.
