Viktor Navorski, a man of a country of the East Europe comes to New York, but after he left his country; the war exploded and because Navorski is a man without a country that the U. S. he cannot recognize, this way they deny the entry to the U to him. S. Nevertheless, he also cannot be a deportee like that the safety Manager says to him that he has to remain in the airport until his state could be a fixing. And also Navorski does not speak English good, then nobody can go to him and he cannot go to anybody. But he somehow adapts himself and establishes the residence in the airport, which does the man who placed cause there unhappy, it seems that it is the line for a promotion but the presence of Navroski might complicate this. Then he tries to achieve that Navorski leaves but Navorski remains where he is. Navorski does friends with little people who is employed at the airport and is attracted to a flight attendant whom he enters running whenever she between.
