Plot Summary: Want Plunkett and captain James Macleane, two men from different ends of the social spectrum in the 18th century England, come into an arrangement: They decide to release the aristocrats of her possession. But Plunkett has one more thing to take care by itself with the chance, and his impulsiveness gets them all in few difficulties. Will Plunkett und Kapitän James Macleane, zwei Männer von verschiedenen Enden des sozialen Spektrums im 18. Jahrhundert England, gehen in ein Übereinkommen ein: Sie entscheiden sich dafür, die Aristokraten ihres Besitzes zu befreien. Mit dem kriminellen Know-How von Plunkett und den sozialen Verbindungen von Macleane tun sie sich zusammen, bald als "Die Herr-Straßenräuber" bekannt zu sein. Aber wenn eines Tages diese Herren Herr-Trainer von Oberrichter Gibson halten, verliebt sich Macleane sofort in seine schöne und schlaue Nichte, Dame Rebecca Gibson. Leider wird Dieb-Nehmer Allgemeine Chance, wer auch ganz Rebecca liebt, näher und näher dem Bekommen von beiden: Die Herr-Straßenräuber und Rebecca, die, unnötig, um zu erzählen, etwas näher ihm nicht werden wollen. Aber Plunkett hat noch ein Ding, sich mit der Chance von selbst zu erledigen, und seine Impulsivität bekommt sie alle in ein wenigen Schwierigkeiten.
