Plot Summary: Set in 1914, a young orphan named Milo Thatch linguist teams, most books, trying to unlock the secrets to the destruction of Atlantis. Althouth his theories are ridiculed by their peers, it is persistent in our dreams of one day discovering the lost island. His dream realized when it is used instead of the expedition, financed by a friend of his grandfather, go in search of Atlantis after Milo's Guide: The Shepard's Journal. But the guardians of Atlantis awaits explorers putting them in danger at every turn. And the deadly truth about Atlantis's demise raises Milo, the royal family, and all of Atlantis and the lethal threat.
