Plot Summary: The Crossbeam of Hondo, thoroughbred of dispatch of the cavalry, finds Angie Lowe, a woman who lives alone with his young son in the middle of the territory of apache hostile. She supposes that she is sure because the apaches, below his chief Vittorio, were always leaving them alone. The Subsequent Crossbeam has a race - in with the reprobate husband of Angie and is forced killing it, when does not know who he is. Vittorio captures the Crossbeam and to save his life, Angie tells to a chief of apache that the Crossbeam is his husband, ignoring that the Crossbeam killed his truthful husband. To protect it of a marriage forced with one of the apache, the Crossbeam with reluctance goes together with the lie, though he knows that the truth must go out consequently, to Vittorio and Angie, both.
