Plot Summary: Timid, smoking non-stop, the insomniac Peter McGowan is one L. IN. the dramatist with a twine of blows which preceded his ten current years of missed productions. His stepmother runs into senility, a foreigner meanders aspiring neighbourhood to be shone, the neighbours have a new dog who barks all night; his wife wants to have a child and he does not make: he became powerless. He works on an up-to-date when a simple mom moves in in side with her 8-year-old daughter. His wife invites the girl immediately in the home of MCGOWAN. Will this child move the paternal feelings of Peter? Will she also also help him to accept the right of dialogue? And that from his doppelganger and the dog of the neighbour?.

Sa belle-mère coule dans la sénilité, un étranger serpente le voisinage prétendant être lui, les voisins ont un nouveau chien qui aboie toute la nuit; sa femme veut avoir un enfant et il ne fait pas : il est devenu impuissant. Il travaille sur un nouveau jeu quand une maman simple emménage à côté avec sa fille de 8 ans. Sa femme invite immédiatement la fille dans la maison de McGowan. Cet enfant remuera-t-il les sentiments paternels de Peter ? L'aidera-t-elle aussi à recevoir son droit de dialogue ? Et que de son doppelganger et le chien du voisin ?.
