Plot Summary: Stars of Neil Diamond as a Yussel in this fairy tale of young Jewish choirmasters who strives himself to make a career in the music. Against the wishes of his stiff father and his loving woman Yussel travels to California to play his music. Aufgekehrt by the excitement he meets a woman who divides his dream. He grows separated from his family, and is confused about what he should do with his life, finally.
