Plot Summary: Marisa Ventura (Lopez) is a mother born and bred in the boroughs of New York City, who go to work as a classroom in a first-Manhattan hotel. By a twist of mistaken identity and fate, Marisa meets Christopher Marshall (Fiennes), a handsome heir to a political dynasty, who believes she is a guest at the hotel. Fate steps in and throws the pair together for a night. When Marisa's actually been disclosed the identity, the two find that they are the world outside, though the distance separating them is just a subway ride between Manhattan and the Bronx.
