Plot Summary: While she lives an average family house in a pleasant neighborhood, the latest daughter of the Freeling family, Carol Anne (Heather O'Rourke), with supernatural seems to stand by a dead canal on televison in connection. It is not long if the mysterious beings come into the walls of the house. First to harmless minds similarly being, they play pranks and amuse the family, but they take an execrable idiom - they horrify the family to death with bad trees and murderous dolls, and kidnap, finally, Carol Anne in her bedroom built-in wardrobe which is similar to the entrance on the other side.
Indem sie ein durchschnittliches Familienhaus in einer angenehmen Nachbarschaft lebt, scheint die jüngste Tochter der Freeling Familie, Carol Anne (Heather O'Rourke), mit dem übernatürlichen durch einen toten Kanal auf dem televison in Verbindung zu stehen. Es ist nicht lange, wenn die mysteriösen Wesen in die Wände des Hauses eingehen. Zuerst harmlosen Geistern ähnlich seiend, spielen sie Streiche und amüsieren die Familie, aber sie nehmen eine scheußliche Wendung - sie entsetzen die Familie zu Tode mit bösen Bäumen und mörderischen Puppen, und entführen schließlich Carol Anne in ihren Schlafzimmer-Wandschrank, der dem Eingang auf die andere Seite ähnlich ist.
