Plot Summary: New York, in 1959. Max Bialystock was once the king of Broadway, but now all his shows near at the opening night. Things turn round if he is visited by the nervous blossom of the accountant Leo who suggests a pattern which is tailor-made for producers who can make only failures: Raise much more money than you need, then make sure that the show is despised. Nobody will be interested in it, you are able to do pocket the profit. For this purpose they generate a called music spring for Hitler written by the escaped Nazi Franz Liebken. Then they arrange incredibly extravagant Roger De Bris to order. Finally, they rent as a management actress the mad Swedish bomb Ulla (which surname more than 15 syllables has). Because opening night brings near what can fail? So, there is no explanation of the taste.

Dinge drehen sich um, wenn er durch die Nervenblüte des Buchhalters Leo besucht wird, wer ein Schema vorschlägt, das für Erzeuger maßgeschneidert ist, die nur Misserfolge machen können: Erheben Sie viel mehr Geld, als Sie brauchen, dann stellen Sie sicher, dass die Show verachtet wird. Keiner wird sich dafür interessieren, so können Sie Tasche der Überschuss. Zu diesem Zweck erzeugen sie ein genanntes Musikfrühjahr für vom entkommenen Nazi Franz Liebken geschriebenen Hitler. Dann veranlassen sie den wahnsinnig extravaganten Roger De Bris zu befehlen. Schließlich mieten sie als eine Leitungsschauspielerin die verrückte schwedische Bombe Ulla (dessen Nachname mehr als 15 Silben hat). Weil sich öffnende Nacht nähert, was kann schief gehen? So, es gibt keine Erklärung des Geschmacks.
