Plot Summary: Of six inhabitants of New York have a row standing in interrelation of relations. Television producer Tommy who is broken just with his friend has a short respect with the Engagement-phobe Maria whom he meets in a videocamp, and also with married property agent Annie pecks whom he meets during hunt of the flat. Annie is open for a respect because her husband, Griffin, on her cheats who slowly comes they to understand by the entertainment to her friend/Co.-worker who has gone through the same thing. Griffin, a 39-year-old dentist, cheats with 19-year-old waitress Ashley whom he took up in a park; she understands that she can better act if Ben, a hotel doorkeeper and striving musician, tries to take up them in a late attempt to recover from his separation one year ago of the teacher Maria (the same Maria of the videocamp). Most of these relations seem steered more by a desperate need to be in a respect, than real love. Sechs New-Yorkers haben eine in Wechselbeziehung stehende Reihe von Beziehungen. Greif, ein 39-jähriger Zahnarzt, betrügt mit 19-jähriger Kellnerin Ashley, die er in einem Park aufnahm; sie begreift, dass sie besser tun kann, wenn Ben, ein Hotelportier und strebender Musiker, versucht, sie in einem verspäteten Versuch aufzunehmen, sich von seiner Scheidung vor einem Jahr vom Lehrer Maria (dieselbe Maria vom Videolager) zu erholen.
