Plot Summary: Viktor Navorski, a man of a country of the East Europe comes to New York, but after he left his country; the war exploded and because Navorski is a man without a country that the U. S. he cannot recognize, this way they deny the entry to the U to him. S. Nevertheless, he also cannot be a deportee like that the safety Manager says to him that he has to remain in the airport until his state could be a fixing. And also Navorski does not speak English good, then nobody can go to him and he cannot go to anybody. But he somehow adapts himself and establishes the residence in the airport, which does the man who placed cause there unhappy, it seems that it is the line for a promotion but the presence of Navroski might complicate this. Then he tries to achieve that Navorski leaves but Navorski remains where he is. Navorski does friends with little people who is employed at the airport and is attracted to a flight attendant whom he enters running whenever she between. Viktor Navorski, un hombre de un país de la Europa del Este llega a Nueva York, pero después de que él dejó su país; la guerra estalló y debido a que Navorski es un hombre sin un país que el U. S. no puede reconocer, así le niegan la entrada al U. S. Sin embargo, él también no puede ser deportado así le dice el Gerente de Seguridad que él tiene que permanecer en el aeropuerto hasta que su estado pueda ser fijado. Y también Navorski no habla inglés bien, entonces nadie puede dirigirse a él y él no puede dirigirse a nadie. Pero él de alguna manera se adapta y establece la residencia en el aeropuerto, que hace al hombre que le colocó causa allí infeliz, parece que él es la línea para una promoción pero la presencia de Navroski podría complicar esto. Entonces él trata de conseguir que Navorski se marche pero Navorski permanece donde él es. Navorski hace a amigos con un poco de la gente que trabaja en el aeropuerto y es atraído a un auxiliar de vuelo en el cual él entra corriendo siempre que ella entre.
