Plot Summary: Joe Hickley thinks that he has a big pattern: Kidnap the child of rich parents, hold it for 24 hours, the mother under his control keeping, while an accomplice gets the ransom of the father who is away. But things go very wrong if he tries this pattern on the Jennings family partially because her daughter Abby Asthmatiker, and is partial because the Jennings finds out more than Hickley wants that they know.
