Plot Summary: The Carver of Elloit is an egotistic baron of means. The carver has the power to reach every person in the planet for his Network of Group of Carver's Means - except the republic of the Chinese's People that they push his presence back in his country. When he is tied to the disappearance of a British battleship in the China Sea of the South, they send James Bond to investigate. It is in Hong Kong where Obligation finds Wai Lin, a member of the External Security force of the People of China. With and without the help of Wai Lin, the Obligation soon begins to uncover a conspiracy that Russian - kazajo goes in everything behind to a mission in the Guest, and a war will begin only to feed the fire that is the ego of the Carver.
El Tallista de Elloit es un barón de medios egotista. El tallista tiene el poder de alcanzar a cada persona en el planeta por su Red de Grupo de Medios de Tallista - excepto la república de la Gente de chinos que rechazan su presencia en su país. Cuando él es atado a la desaparición de un acorazado británico en el Mar de China del Sur, envían a James Bond para investigar.
